Webinterface not complete in IE

I have this strangest thing lately when I use IE.
When I connect to any of the synology's I own (all sorts from DS207 to DS509+), I only get the login window with the username and password. It's streched over the complete window. Normaly I have more of the page around it and that login is just a small windowbox in the middle. I do can login right but then I only get the main part of the UI. The top menu and the left menu of the interface are gone. Same when I go directly to filestation on port 7001. I get the main window part with file/dir. But not the left menu with the dir-tree for navigation or the top menu to go to management again etc.
Firefox works fine. It's just IE and I have to use IE for some of them where I have the survailance option running. Every other webpage is displayed fine. Tried the compatibility option of IE8 but nothing works to get it right again for IE. 1 thing works and that is when I login to management and right after click on the link below that says "Desktop Edition" (https://websitelink:5001/index.cgi?desk ... eDesktop=1). Then I get it right again.

Ah I found something.... it is entering the mobile edetion by default with IE somehow.
Now how do I change that?

Yep that did the trick. Resetted IE to default again and it's ok again. I can't tell what did cause the problem (I hadn't set any preferences in IE other then I do now).
