And maybe those iPhone advertising is just a marketing thing? People are stumbling through Apple's Appstore seeing those apps and after reading the description they are willing to buy one Synology NAS.... Who knows?

I totally agree on this, mobile functionalities are "cool" and "bonus", but If I had to choose, I will without any hesitations prefer to see Synology works before all on DSM itself and on NAS functionalities. As you perfectly said, NAS solutions are Synology key business.
Maybe you're right after all (and I did not think about it), iphone has been perhaps chosen to catch a "larger" public. Apple Store seem to be the perfect "market zone" to make some advertising of Synology product (OVI store from Nokia needs really...some works !)
