Dunno really... Like, there's lot of free place there, why is this "fancy" arrow needed I really don't see.

Problem with the arrow leads to a multiple choice menu... so syn can't really put a power button graphic in there...

What would your suggestion be doktor?

Well, really just stick logoff/reboot/shutdown buttons there without any arrows and be done with it?

Could be a dangerous method placing reboot and shutdown next to logoff...
I know you have to confirm the setting after clicking on it... but let's be fair here... some people are struggling to find the power options...

It could result in shutting down or rebooting the machine, which can end up as a pain!
As an example presently i'm shifing a terrabyte of info, estimated as 60 hours...

I'd be very annoyed if by chance i left the mouse hovering on the reboot/shutdown and somehow dropped something on the keyboard resulting in an action to commence aborting the rsync process...

I also have a hyper dog, that's a fool and is always creating disaster where ever she goes...

Just my thoughts on the subject anyway...

I hope Synology will never do this.
Stop/Restart are function not so much used, at least for me and probably for a good part of Synology users, and that's a perfect idea from synology to have put them in "background", NAS are generally intended to be operational 24/7, so why put buttons or text always visible ? (with graphics or not), it will only clutter the smooth interface...
The actual layout is definitively the best choice. It's one time effort to know where they have been relocated. End of Story.

Best Regards,
Zouk !
