I noticed this morning that I suddenly could not browse to the 209+ DSM, nor could PCH access the folders. I restarted the 209+ and everything began to communicate again. That's the first time in 4 months that I've had to restart, though. When I checked the system log, I found countless event logs consisting of "system failed to parse media metadata of fil [/xxxx/xxxx/.....]. Time stamp indicates that it occurred over night. Any idea what this means and how or why it relates to my apparent "semi-crash"???
Potential Feature Bug Update.....
I also noticed that, after upgrading to beta-2.2, that my popcorn hour EJECT function no longer "ejects" movies on the 209+. Before, I could stream a movie and press STOP, and the 209+ would then resume play from that point. The EJECT button caused playback to begin from the beginning of said movie, as if the 'disc' had been truly "ejected". Now the EJECT button acts exactly as the STOP button in this respect. This is the case for smb, nfs, or upnp. I know this probably sounds like a PCH issue, but the ONLY thing that has changed in this equation is the beta-2.2 on the 209+. Does this change even remotely make sense in terms of altered interaction of the beta-2.2??? Am I just crazy? Has anyone had similar experiences with other NMT's or media streamers?
