Mail Station

Howdy al,

I have installed the mail station package and have one or two questions.

1 My system is a DS107,can this model handle the package or not.Its installed and working away but will it slow my system down or just not work right. Why release it for this model if ya dont recommend to use it on this model.

2 I have configured it through outlook express,i can send and recieve mail no probs but from the the Roundcube interface its a different story.I can recieve mail but can't send mail to certain accounts like gmail+hotmail.I believe this has something to do with the dynamic ip my isp supplies are blacklisted and the google+hotmail servers wont allow the mail in due to spam issues.. There is a workaround i think but this involves delving into the synology box via ssh and changing the smtp server to that of your isp, anyone know how to do it..????? Also isn't this a basic thing Synology should of thought before doin a final release,me think so........

3 Having your own mail server is nice(that is if it will work properly on the DS107)but beginning to think a mail client would of been a nice option as well but thats just a personal musing..

Thanks in advance and nice work Synology, its a great little product....

Slainte...
