Mail Station and Users

Looks like there isn't a group for mailstation yet so here goes....

When adding a user to the DiskStation is there a way to prevent them from also getting a mail account?

look in Privileges and then in Application Setting.

you can mark what ever this user is allowd to do.

When a create a new user or take a look on the privileges from a existing user there are no options for mail.

Franske can you tel me where i can find this option?

Mail station is up and running fine. But i have a strange problem.

When i use my Admin account and i login at my Synology (www.mydomain.nl) there is a button "Mail station".

When is use a user account there is no mail station button. A user must use www.mydomain.nl/mail to login to there mail.

Why is that? What must i do so each user has a Mail button?

You are meaning on the user's desktop?
I can confirm this, there is no mail button on my user's desktop either.
Probably just an omission.
Maybe Synology can fix it in the next FW?
In the meantime, maybe someone can write a "how to" on editing the index.cgi.

Same thing here on a DS109

When logging in as admin, the Mail Station icon (button) shows up on the user desktop fine.

When logging on as anyone else though, no Mail Station icon appears on the user desktop.

This is with firmware 2.2-0965
