I have had a DS106e for about 2 years and used it as an NAS from an XP machine. It has the lastest firmware onboard (2.0.3 - 0462)
Lately I got a new computer loaded with Linux. I am having lots of problems mounting the DS106e from this new computer.
Then I discovered something else. even though I had assigned drive letters to all the folders in XP, the DS was not being shown in the 'network places' in windows!
Additionally, I recently got a network media player and it could also not find the DS on the network!
Can someone please tell me what is wrong with my DS?
