Joomla Performance on DS212

Hi guys,

I've read alot of posts on the forum which seem to suggest there's varying views on whether the NAS is suitable to host a Web CMS such as Joomla in practice. I am in two minds whether to invest on a setup like this for the purpose of running a small web site (which has relatively low traffic, ie. less than 100 hits a day). Whilst there have been posts suggesting there seem to be performance issues with running Joomla on Synology NAS devices (due to php/cpu/etc.), I like some feedback from people who have actually got this setup, and is satisfied with the performance of your Joomla CMS website hosted on ideally a DS212 device? Are there any performance degradation when compared with running it off a dedicated PC box? Would love to hear your point of view ...

So, nobody has any good experience at all to talk about on this topic? The lack of response suggests this setup just is not practical ...
