Hi Steve,
Thx, I do have the latest... and forgot it did auto-detect the network :)

I'm wondering if having both Synodroid and Transdroid installed has caused the .torrent files not to automatically get detected by either app? When I'm on a torrent site, and click on a link, the .torrent file always saves to my local storage, it is never opened automatically by either app.

I have searched for a way to associate a file type with an app, like I can in Windows, but I have not found a way... maybe you can add 'associate with .torrent files' as an option in Synodroid settings?

thx for the great app!

It already does associate with .torrents automatically. If it doesnt work it because you've set your browser to automatically dl .torrent. you have to clear the app default for your browser in settings.

Feature Requests:

1) Please fix TPB Magnet Links to work with Synodroid. TPB is useless now.
2) Allow the editing and modifying of previous search criteria instead of retyping from scratch.

Love Synodroid. Use all the time. App has come a long way. Keep up the good work!

1.Magnet links do work. But you need DSM3.2+.

2.Yeah I want that too. Just need to figure out how to do it...

I have used Synodroid Pro alot on my Galaxy Tab 10.1. I predominantley use Megashares as a file hosting site to download from where I am a premium user. I have recently upgraded my DS110j from DSM 3.2 to DSM 4.0. I can no longer download using the Synodroid Pro from the website directly to my NAS (previously had no problem with DSM 3.2).

I add the url to the manually but get an error - only a login.php file.

Any help would be much appreciated, you app really is great when i get it working.

Thanks

You probably just need to make sure your megashares account is still setup properly in your NAS config. The code synodroid uses is exactly the same for DSM 3.2 and 4.0 so it should still work. Do the megashares links work when you use the web interface on your computer?

The NAS config does not have megashares on its list of file hosts but this never stopped be using it with Synodroid Pro previously. The links work find when clicking on my computer. But i'm having also having issues when use Synlogy's download station.

If your having issues with the Synology download station, synodroid won't work for sure...

is it possible to limit simultaneous downloads? I'd like three to download at the same time and the others to be queued.

It not impossible to do. But what I hate about this is that it requires admin access...

Steve - I do have DSM 4.0-2198 installed. I fixed by updating the search engine to apk1.6. Thanks.

I have just upgraded to Synodroid Pro, as I thought the developer deserved a contribution and I liked the idea of the DSM search which uses multiple search engines at the same time.

However, this feature doesn't work for me, I always get "No results found" when using DSM search.

Does anyone have a solution to this? I can't see anything in the settings that seems to relate to this.

The reason that you are having no results is that you have installed a custom search provider on your NAS and the date the custom search provider return is in the wrong format. Disable search providers one by one to find the one responsible. A fix for that will be comming in the next version.

Thanks. I disabled a few that don't usually prove that useful for me (Asian and Russian) and it works! Thanks again.
