DS-101G+ to DSM3.2 - 1922

I have been out of the forum for a while, sorry everyone!

I did attempt to add more RAM to the PCB, but that didn't work... I suspect it's because some BIOS registry needs changing?

Goetz, question for you:
If I want to change my DS-101G+ to DSM 3.2-1922, can I use the 108j (with checksum hack), or I need to swap some files from the 107 package? I looked through some posts but there is no definite answer... thanks!

Also, anyone tried the VPN server on 101G+? How's the performance?

did you succeed to install DSM3.2 on a DS101G+?
I have a 1Tb with DSM2 on it actually, I would like to upgrade.

Yes it worked, HDD hibernate, fan controls and LEDs are normal. To my surprise it didn't even format the volume (but I did backup just in case). Runs faster than 2.x IMO.

i think no, DS-101g+ and DS-106 have same hardware.
sysconf? Did you mean scemd? 3.2 beta scemd does not work for 4.0

I might actually reinstall and go back to 3.2 maybe the USB audio will work as well..

Hi.

I have tried to upgrade the DSM on my 101g+, according to the guides here, but i haven't had any luck.

I'm trying to cheat it into a 106 or 107, so the harddrive is supported, but when i am applying the modified .pat files, the DSM says "Fail to update. File is probably corrupt"

I hope someone can help me.
