sabnzbd troubles

Postby polquito » Fri Mar 23, 2012 10:44 pm

I once reinstalled sabnzbd and now it doesn't work anymore.
When adding a nzb I get a message "cannot create folder /volume1/downloads/incomplete
I really searched the net,can find the problem, but cannot find a decent solution.
I allready removed the software from my nas and tried to reinstall, but the problem stays.
Looks like some configurationpreference stays.

Can someone help me with this? Is there a way to make a clean removal so I can reinstall the software?

Thnx!

I had this problem once too. Basically, before installing sabnzbd, you need to create a share called "downloads" and add the admin account to it as a full read/write user. then install sabnzbd

Brill - just to say this worked for me as SABnzbd was refusing to save most my settings- just delete the programme, reboot the server, create the 'downloads' directory and reinstall.

Thanks so much..
