Hi all.
Are there a program or utility that I can run on my Synology DS209+II so I can view ie. logs like those in /var/log/messages ?

You can install Config File Editor from
http://www.mertymade.com/syno/#cfeand then edit the CFE itself to show /var/log/messages
That's how I do it.
