latest version (3.1) of the DSM, which I've just installed, seems to support the 750 out of the box. At any rate, it overwrote the file I'd been instructed to change, and yet the UPS is still recognised.
You probably want to upgrade to 3.1 anyway if your machine comes with an older version.
Hi,
is anybody able to confirm that the current 750 LCD model now works with Diskstation and latest firmware.
Thanx and Cheers

I will be able to tell you in 3 weeks time if it works correctly. I will be testing a SMX750 with a RS212. Stay tuned....

I can confirm our SMT750I works with DSM 4.0-2198 on a DS710+. I didn't try with a DS1010+ yet and probably never will (got another solution for that now) but in all likelyhood those would work as well.

Works fine out of the box, be sure to upgrade to DSM 4.0 if not already installed
