ISP: Zen Internet (yes, they really are that good!)
Router: Thomson SpeedTouch TG585v7 (does the job, but only g (not n) wifi & 10/100, not 1GB)
DS411j with 4x 2tb Seagate in RAID6 (fabulous!) with Samsung 2TB USB backup.

Works great!
Thanks!!

After learning the hard way that you usually get what you pay for:

ISP: Zen Internet
Router: Draytek Vigor 2710Vn

Sure, the router costs probably double that of a typical Netgear or Linksys, but if I'd bought one of these in the first place I'd have saved myself a fortune in all the junk that came before it...

I have a Synology DS211j, and it works perfectly with my setup.

• Broadband Supplier: Orange
• Brand of Router: NetGear
• Model of Router: DG834G v3

I am able to connect remotely to my DS211j. I've forwarded port 5001 (https) to my NAS.

This means I can login remotely and access my files.

I also have a IP Camera that I can connect to remotely.

Upgraded my router a while back and it isn't supported on the current uPNP list as far I can see :

Router : Billion 7800N
ISP : Zen Internet (ADSL)

Would be nice not to have to configure ports via the router web interface :)
