Advice on Setting Motion detection

Hi,

I'm using a Foscam FI8918W with a DS212j.
At the moment I'm having a poblem setting motion detection.

I've set a patrol, basically just turning in an arc from a door to garden.
The movement of the camera during the patrol is triggering the motion detection and it gets set as an event.

Is it possible to use motion detection with a patrol?
Is it possible to stop the patrol when motion is detected, at the view of detection?

Also, on a patrol, what does the interval time actually set. I'd really like it to stay on the door for 60 seconds, then sweep to the garden, stay 10 seconds and then sweep back and repeat. Is that possible?

There doesn't seem to be any 'help' on the SS settings, as this brings up a new dialog window and prevents clicking on help...?

I hope someone can help with this.

That's a good question, I hope someone can answer you. Unfortunately my camera is fixed (no panning or tilting), so I can't help.

It is silly. Motion detection is only useful to trigger the patrol?

The interval is every N minutes your patrol cycle starts and repeats Y times.
If you set the cycles to infinite then the interval is meaningless and is grayed out.

From what I can tell you can't accomplish what you want with the 60 and 10 sec.
