DS411-II doesn't hibernate, no activities logged

Postby Dr.Pat » Thu Jan 26, 2012 9:19 pm

Hi, my DS411-II doesn't hibernate. Tried to disable *all* services and to use the debug tool, 10 minutes to hibernate and removed the LAN cable from the NAS, and the logs don't show any activity:

Code: Select all
Jan 25 21:56:55 syno_hibernate_debug_tool: (115): Start Hibernation Debug with second [10]
Jan 25 21:56:55 kernel: [  222.265516] [/etc/passwd] opened by pid 9001 [u:(-ash), comm:(ash)]
Jan 25 22:16:07 kernel: [ 1374.900631] [/etc/synoinfo.conf] opened by pid 4340 [u:(/usr/syno/bin/scemd), comm:(scemd)]
Jan 25 22:16:38 kernel: [ 1405.119623] [/etc/ld.so.cache] opened by pid 9029 [u:(/usr/syno/sbin/sshd), comm:(sshd)]
Jan 25 22:16:49 kernel: [ 1416.917971] [/etc/shadow] opened by pid 9029 [u:(sshd: root [priv]), comm:(sshd)]

These are 20 minutes of inactivity without hibernation, but the same goes for an entire night. I'm using the NAS since 2 weeks but it never hibernate (searched the logs).

I'm using a WD20EARS and a HDP725050GLA360, both are supported.

Any idea?

I've rebuilt the RAID from scratch and now the NAS hibernates. Besides that, i didn't change ANY setting. Logs are identical. This is very strange.
