AVTECH AVN244 support

The following will add this AVTECH cam to the list, including PTZ



Edit /usr/syno/etc.defaults/camera_model.conf

Ad AVTECH*AVN244=Vilar*generic to the camlist

Ad the following to the bottom of the camera commands list.

New location for version 4 (beta)

/volume1/@appstore/SurveillanceStation/conf/camera_model.conf

tested with version 4 and works ok


ps: also a small typo :

AVTECH*AVN244=Vilar*generic to the camlist
should be
AVTECH*AVN244=AVTECH*generic to the camlist

Thanks for your information. I have just bought the AVN244 Camera and trying to set it up to my D212j, could you tell me where can I edit the camera command list please? I have search everywhere, but don't have a clue where to enter those command. Many thanks.

This needs to be done on the NAS

So you have to edit the file camera_model.conf located here :

/volume1/@appstore/SurveillanceStation/conf/camera_model.conf


This needs to be done via telnet
