I'm impressed that this little machine can run all of those things simultaneously without any trouble.

-VPN Package is made by Synology and makes the DS a VPN server that you can connect to when you're outside your network.
-Syslog server is also made by Synology and is a server where other devices on the network can dump log files.
-Transmission is the torrent client package created by http://synoblog.superzebulon.org/category/tr/
-SickBeard is a PVR for newsgroup users (with limited torrent support). It watches for new episodes of your favorite shows and when they are posted it downloads them, sorts and renames them. http://synoblog.superzebulon.org/category/sb/
-Config File Editor is a handy little package for editing files directly on the NAS http://www.mertymade.com/syno/#cfe
-Webalizer is the package from Synology that keeps statistics from the webserver.
-phpMyAdmin is the package from Synology and it's for controlling MySQL database on the NAS.
-Tug's Uptime Project is just for fun and a place to compete for the best uptime http://users.uptimeprj.com/Noisemaker/en/
-VNstat is an IPKG package that creates statistics from the network card in the NAS. http://humdi.net/vnstat/
That's just some of the things you can put on your Syno. Some of them require modding and some commmand line skills, but all the packages are for loading up in Synology package manager and of you go.
I hope you can use som of this and maybe learn little about what it can do and how it works
We don't need to used EZinternet if we just manually port forward but will need to enable the apps on the DS211j?
