DS411j vs DS411 vs 411+II

Greetings all,

I am totally new to Synology. I was actually going to go with DROBO until a coworker talked to me about this product. So I am about to make the jump, but I have a question. Obviously, the more expensive the better.. But beside some minor difference in the license (like the number of cams), I see that in the 3 models I listed in the title the memory is different, and so the RAM.

Where would I see the difference by using those 3 modules ?
If I use the DLNA server to stream audio and/or video, would I see a difference in the quality ?
Would I see a difference in the speed of a time machine backup ?
What's the catch..?
