increase phostostation mignature creation

Hello,
i've bought just few days ago , my first synology nas..
I've a problem with photostation because the process of mignature creation is really slowly (and the cpu of my DS211 is at 100% !! ). I think than in 2 weeks could be finish ( 3300 photos and 100 videos).

How can i improve the speed of this process ? all my folders containing photo had just a Thumbs.db files originally...Photostation didn't use it ? or it must be in other directory ?

Use Synology Assistant to upload the photos. Then the cpu of your PC instead of the DS will be used to create the thumbnails.

Yes Harry, with new photos is ok, but I´ve migrated to photo station 5 2 weeks ago and my DS209 is still working with old photos (or I think so), with process convert-thumb getting the CPU at 100% all the time. Is there any way to stop this process?
