no files visible after upgrade to 3.2

I have after the upgrade from the DS211j no access to the videos , not with the Samsung UE55D7090 or the PS3, the folder shows empty, but its not. With DSM 3.1 all was working fine

Any idea?

I have exactly the same issue with my DS1511+. After upgrading from 3.1 to newest 3.2-1922 my Sony TVs is no longer working with DLNA/Synology. Worked perfectly before!

So I guess You'll have to wait to upgrade to 3.2 if You still want Your DLNA clients to work properly. I have created a support ticket with Synology on this issue, but havent heard from them yet.

Same issue, before upgrade 3.2-1922 was DLNA with my TV SONY KDL-40V5500 perfect. Now I have same problem. I do not see video files. The music and photo is OK.
May be problem about MIME types which should be hardcoded.

Please, help us.

Same here with XBox360. Was fine in 3.1, now with 3.2 I get no videos, music, or photos.

Same here - Synology Media Server 3.2 isn't showing any files to an LG Blu Ray player (DLNA client) that previously worked with 3.1.

The error message displayed by the Blu Ray player is either that the server rejected the connection, or it accepts the connection and then shows the top level folders, all of which are empty.

I tried turning Media Server off and back on, which appeared to reindex the media, but didn't fix the problem.

Media Server 'DMA debug' logging all looks like gibberish, as in 'not ASCII text' gibberish.

I made reindex.
I see some video files, but some I do not see. Some of the *.vob files are not visible.

This may be the solution to the files problem ? (Works for Xbox)

1/ Logon to the diskstation
2/ Open up control panel
3/ Open Media Server
4/ Select the "DMA compatability" tab
5/ there is a button [device list] - click on it
6/ you see a list with MAC address etc.. one line will be your device
7/ un-check the enable [ ] for this line and click the [save] button
8/ try from your device - you'll see nothing (dont know if this step is important or not)
9/ re-check the enable [x] for this line and click the [save] button
10/ now your device should be able to access and be happy

Hello, thanks for the tip, but this does not help me.
I have access to my media server from TV over DLNA, but the problem is I cannot see and play all files. Mostly I do not see DVD *.vob files. Before upgrade to newest version was all OK.

Can confirm that the fix posted by ghingres works fine for my Xbox360. Since the upgrade I've have no videos available despite a full reindex. However after updating the DMA settings all my videos were available without the need to reindex

I can see the folders but the files are listed as unsupported format on my ps3 and I cannot play anything.....the files are mainly divx

Does anyone else having the same issue?

Having the same problem with a WD Live TV + box and my DS410J after upgrading to 3.2-1922. The files that were visible and played great under 3.1 are no longer available Tried re-indexing, tried the various suggestions with the device list. Any other suggestions greatly appreciated.
