Sabnzbd not reachable from outside home network

Since a week or so I can't reach SABnzbd from outside my own network. All the port forwarding is oke, didn't chance it. Also tried to change the port where I can reach SABnzbd at, didn't work as well. Things like FileStation, DSM etc are reachable.
It went wrong last week when I tried to update SABnzbd, this didn't work and SABnzb wasn't working at all. So I installed a complete new installation.

Who knows what I miss?

Wrong category - SABNZBD isn't Synology Officially Supported Package

Ensure the correct port is forwarded on your router - and no other apps are using port 8080 (if you're using that port)

if you can get to your server from outside the network that should be all it will take.

It's on port 9200 but that shouldn't make a differance. Everything is correct, I can reach DSM from outside my network. The only thing I can't get to work is Sabnzbd.

9200 shouldn't be a problem alright.

Is port 9200 open in your router and pointing to your Diskstation?

A simple way to check to see if it's done and working is:

1. Go to http://www.canyouseeme.org
2. Enter the port number into the "What Port?" field (9200 obviously)
3. click "Check"

Close to the bottom of the page under the google advertisement you'll see the results of this check. Either successful or red to say it's not forwarded.

Some ISP's block port numbers cause they hate you and want to make life difficult. (Synology did a webinar on it ->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0R1ZO7r-CQ&t=3m24s)

Thanks for the link of testing the open ports. Really helpful.
For now I chanced some settings in the modem. And it is working again. Don't know why it wasn't working anymore with the other settings because that's the way I always did it, I used ZIPB. And now the normal port forwarding.
