Differences between the DS211 and J

About to buy one tonight.

Will be using it for general backups / NZB downloads - maybe the odd torrent (save leaving on my PC)

Photo sharing for family etc.

What are the main differences between the two models - the DS211 and the (junior?) DS211j

Thanks for that - do i sense sarcasm? Was reading on a phone. So that long comparison was bit hard to study. I gather faster processor and memory.... but being new to nas i was hoping somebody would explain better for me to justify £70 more or if i needed the better model.

Hello,
I am owner of DS210j. I wouldn't choose it today. Don't choose the model with J.
Today I would choose 710+ or 211 (from 2 bay disks).
Think seriously about 4 bay model.

DS211J would be ok for doing any of the aforementioned tasks but can have difficulties with handling several of them at the same time. My DS109 (with the same CPU and RAM, if I recall correctly) became quite slow when several torrents were being downloaded, and it gave a not-too-fast response on the Photo Station even in the idle state.
