DSM 3.1-1594 to 3.1-1605 update question

Postby skarab » Thu Mar 31, 2011 8:55 am

Hello

I've recently updated from DSM-3.0 to DSM 3.1-1594 on my DS410 (Using the Synology Assistant)The update to 3.1-1594 worked perfectly with no problems so far.

Within the DSM control panel, I enabled automatic download of any new DSM updates and a few days ago the DSM 3.1-1605 update popped up.

Any of you with similar setup had any problems updating to the latest version?

Thanks for looking!

Regards

Thank you for your quick response jekyll.

Did you have the usual 100% CPU usage (thumbnail conversion, etc) on your DS410 after the update?

If you made any edits to your .cf files (ie. main.cf for mailstation to get multiple domains working properly) make sure you copy what the edits were. The update overwrote my files and I had to re-edit them to get my email addresses working again.

Nope, I got it for more than two weeks after upgrading to 3.1 beta, but not from 1594 to 1605.

I can now also confirm that updating from 1594 to 1605 does not trigger the re-creation of the thumbnails.
