PS. I postponed the release of 2.0 till next week, sorry if someone was waiting for it.

Please don't apologize. It's great work at where it is already! Are there any settings on the DSM that we should configure? I wonder if the hotfile link itself makes the difference as well. I hope the next version will fix it for me!

There might be a small bug. I am using sdownloader for 2 days now. Before starting any downloads my settings for "Delete archives after unpacked" was FALSE, then I added a download task with some rar files. During the download process I played with settings and changed "Delete archives after unpacked" to ON. Then the download finished, extraction started. After the extraction finished, I found an empty directory with the package name I assigned. Both the rar files and extracted files were missing on my NAS. So I am thinking that changing this setting during the download process caused the software to delete everything ?? :)

Also I am both trying to download with download manager and sdownloader with fileserve account. Download manager is 4 times faster than sdownloader about the download speed :(

I think i've found a bug. Every times that i switch-off/on the ds211, the downloads doesn't resume; it starts with the right % but it starts from the first file (you can see it into the download folder). how can i help you to solve this problem?

I can not edit the php.ini I get this error: Can not execute SCP to start transfer. Make sure that SCP is installed on the server and its path is included in PATH. You can also try SFTP instead of SCP.
Command failed with return code 127.
Tips? thanks!

Same here in terms of speed. I just verified again. Tried to download a 1.3GB file and went to sleep. 10 hours later and it's at 93%. It should normally take about 1 hour to download 1.3 GB for my ISP so it is about 10x slower for me. I wonder if this is normal for other users.

Here is the latest situation:

Extracting:
1- For 3 days I've been using sdownloader. I've downloaded several movies with many rar parts. Some movies downloaded, extracted then moved to my preferred directory successfully.
2- The latest 2 movies downloaded and extracted fine, the extraction process finished (I check from the resources monitor that CPU usage is down right now. But both the extracted file and the original downloaded rar files are still under web/sdownloader/downloads. Which means after extraction finishes, it didn't move the files to the preferred directory and didn't erase the rar files. My observation says that, after two downloads finished (nearly at the same time) two different extraction process started and continued at the same time which confused sdownloader so that it did not work properly? By the way on the download list, it still show "extracting" for those 2 movies but I am sure that extraction finished, I tried the extracted files and they are working fine.

PS: Download speed is still slow :)

Thank you for your efforts!

First of all: Thanks for a great product!

Second: Is it possible to rework the code so that the drive is allowed to hibernate when no downloads are active? As of now, the cron job keeps my drive spinning constantly, and starting and stopping SDownloader is cumbersome

Hi, Sdownloader is working great on my syno  , but I have a problem with 2 options under the SETTING tab: the default value is true but I can't change it into false.

The options are:

1- Unpack after download
2- Send e-mail after downlaod is complete

Where can I find the configuration file to put FALSE manually? if I put under the web browser I receive an error.

I use the version 1.91

Thank you for your help

Could you tell me under which license your software is published exactly?

The file you are looking for is /volume1/web/sdownloader/includes/defines.php, you can edit it manually with vi.
