iSCSI disk not found i Windows 7 x64 Disk Management?

Postby Evanesco » Fri Jan 14, 2011 9:16 pm

Hi!

I have Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, and DS-209+II.

I have setup a iSCSI target on the DS-209+II and I have connected the iSCSI disk via iSCSI Initiator. It connects fine, and DS+209+II reports everything is ready.

But when entering Disk Management under Windows' Computer Management, it does NOT discover or tell that there is a new drive( according to tutorials on how to setup a iSCSI disk, Disk Management should automatically discover the iSCSI drive), so I can't assign it a drive letter and format it.

Step 3 doesn't happen to me.

What is wrong??

Please help!

Found this:

I followed it word for word and it worked fine for me. I use a DS110J.

Good Luck!
