how to set for my Linksys WVC200?

why only allow the WVC54GC but not the WVC200?

isit means WVC54GC got pay extra money and WVC200 user not?..:S

I also have a WVC200 and I am disappointed too that there is no support for my Camera in the surveillance station

I did ask support but only get tips such as : try to configure a "Linksys WVC210" or the [User Define].

I did that without success... When I configure a WVC210, I see a screenshot taken with the webcam as "preview" in the "Surveillance" station, but the camera appears as disconnected. Also the connection test fails with "Failed to connect the camera. Please check the following settings of the camera: IP address, hostname, port number". I did check and they are correct...

When I configure it with [User Define], setting source path = /img/video.mjpeg (I did disable the protection with user/password and configure my WVC200 to use MJPEG), I don't even have a preview and a test results into "Camera test failed"... (Notice I use the same IP address and port as those used to test the configuration "WVC2010").

Compatible IP cam are not really cheap and I don't want to buy another one :/

I just read that "The Linksys WVC200 IP Camera uses a particular system for transmitting MJPEG stream: it uses small MJPEG blocks in which it encapsulates a part of each JPG picture. 3 or so blocks contains one whole JPG image.".

I presume this is the reason why Synology is not able to consume that stream
