upgrade roundcube mailstation

I tried to upgrade the syno mailstation package to the latest release of roundcube 0.4.1
The installer gives a good configuration but failed on the DB config

Check config files
main.inc.php: OK
db.inc.php: OK
Check if directories are writable
Roundcube may need to write/save files into these directories

temp/: OK
logs/: OK

Check DB config
DSN (write): OK
Fatal error: Call to undefined method rcube_mdb2::list_tables() in /volume1/@appstore/MailStation/roundcubemail/installer/rcube_install.php on line 355

Anyone an idee what went wrong ?

Why are you putting the non-Synology-roundcube files into Syno folders? You should put them into a newly created folder within /volume1/web/ or directly in /volume1/web

I just followed the installation instruction of roundcube.
I have configured the syno again from scratch and installed the syno mailpackage.
This works fine.
Now i tried to upgrade with the roundcube 0.4.1 release as you told in the map /web/rcmail.
After executing the installer step1 was OK but step 2 gives error on:

db.inc.php: OK
Check if directories are writable

DSN (write): NOT OK(MDB2 Error: connect failed)
Make sure that the configured database exists and that the user has write privileges
DSN: pgsql://roundcube:pass@localhost/roundcubemail

I tried it with the syno mailpackage active and inactive, mysql/pgsql - i get always this error.
Has somebody a manual or script to complete such an upgrade.

So you defined a own database for RC mail and gave the details to the installer?

I created with phpMyadmin the database roundcube mail
After the creation of the database i executed the SQL statement "mysql.initial.sql'.
The 8 tables were created with full privileges.
I returned to the roundcube web installer, created the main.inc.php & db.inc.php files, put them in the config map and afterwoods i get the same error

DSN: mysql://roundcube:pass@localhost/roundcube

Has the syno mailstation package be active or not ?

You don't have to execute a script. Just create the database and provide the installer with those details. The installer should initialize the tables and users

I have tried almost everything and get always stuck at the same point.
after executing the http://syno ip/roundcube/installer/ the installer stops at :

Check DB config

DSN: mysql://roundcube:pass@localhost/roundcube

The same with pgsql.

I deleted the created roundcubemail with phpMyAdmin
The syno roundcube mailstation is also active.
The error stays.
I dont' know how to proceed anymore.

I will check my config when I'm home afterwards. But as I can remember I just created the database and the installer went through successfully

I think that the problem has been solved.
I tried another installation with the upgrade instructions of roundcube self.
First install the syno mailstation package and run it.

After this modify "/volume1/@appstore/Mailstation/roundcubemail "
Delete maps /SQL- /BIN - /Program - /Plugins - /Skins/default/ - /Installer
Delete file index.php
Copy from the new roundcube folder the above maps and index.php
Modify the roundcube tables with phpPgAdmin with the file in the sql folder (postgres.udate.sql).
This wil update the roundcube tables.
After the table updates run the roundcube installer "http://syn_ IP/mail/installer"
This solution works for me.
