DSM3.0 - Request - Notifications to Users

I would like the ability for Admin to send messages to other users.

So that when they log in to DSM, a pop-up dialogue box appears with the message.

It could also be displayed in the "Notifications" tab in the top right corner of DSM.

What do you think?

It's been nearly a year since I requested this feature, so I'm going to ask again.

It would be helpful to get more support from other forum members.

The feature would be really useful - I can't see the downsides and it shouldn't be complicated to implement.

I'm with U alla the way. This is a feature I miss allmost every day. I would also like to see the feature that allows users to send messages to each other.
