How to avoid: Sender address rejected: Domain not found

Postby jsfarum » Sun Jun 13, 2010 8:19 pm

Hi,

I have set up MailStation for mail archiving and for storing qurantine mails, processed by a linux based firewall/spam solution.

This works works very well, except from some unwanted filtering in MailStation, in spite of the spam-filter is disabled:

Jun 13 20:22:05 s_sys@firewall postfix/qmgr[1835]: 1A2B3C4D5E: from=<user@example.com>, size=232672, nrcpt=2 (queue active)
Jun 13 20:22:27 s_sys@firewall postfix/smtp[9711]: 1A2B3C4D5E: to=<archive@mailstation.com>, relay=archive@mailstation.com[www.xxx.yyy.zzz],delay=3747, status=deferred (host mailstation.com[www.xxx.yyy.zzz] said: 450 4.1.8 <user@example.com>: Sender address rejected: Domain not found (in reply to RCPT TO command))

The Synology CS407e with the MailStation add-on package is placed behind a firewall that only accepts SMTP from the firewall/spam solution, so I realy doesn't need any filtering at all.

Is it possible to disable all filtering and checks :?:

You can adjust the "filtering" in postfix' main.cf. Have a look at the smtpd_xxx_restrictions (http://www.postfix.org/SMTPD_ACCESS_README.html)
