I've been waiting and researching getting a nas for a few months now. This is just the sort of feature I (and im sure many others) are looking for. Definitely would convince me to purchase.

+1 here for that.
If you actually implement this, i'd buy the top of the line NAS just for that.
IMHO its a major selling point.

I too would like to see this in the Synology build in. Just bought my 210J and i'm really happy with it. Before i had a Etray from Xtreamer that was really crappy NAS but it had Rapidshare and Hotfile support which was probably the only good thing on that device  . Now i have a really good working NAS but don't have any rapidshare support.... This cant be that difficult to implement i think knowing that the xtreamer guys could do it

Greetzzzzz,

I too had the eTrayz. Not impressed with it, dumped it when i got the chance. I hope Jdownloader can be made available as it is probably the best downloader you can find around.

The JDownloader Team ist working on a NAS version.

I never found a roadmap, so you may ask them yourself, when there will be a NAS version of jdownloader.

Why is synology support team silent these days? No improvement about download manager side? new filesharing sites, new updated download manager? jdownloader support? Lots of customers are waiting for a long time
