All questions regarding system hibneration may be placed here. Thanks!
I have mine set to turn off after 20 mins. It does that. But many times it turns back on literally right after the drives spin down.
Sometimes it stays off for hours.
No one is accessing it at the time it turns back on. Usually after it comes back up and then times out again, it shuts down for good (or until it gets accessed again).
I'm afraid this is going to cause too much wear and tear on the drives.
I am running the latest update.
DDNS is off and no other media services are running. I am using this as a shared folders drive and for Time Machine backups.
Does any one have any ideas?

I have the same problem. My DS212 hibernates correctly after 20 minutes (my current setting), but it immediately turns back on without me doing anything, and it stays on for another 20 minutes. Then it hibernates again and stays off until I awake it when needed. (I'm using the DS212 as a backup device via Sinchback and for streaming music only and it's working great.)
This isn't a big deal, except that I've heard that respinning the HHDs immediately after they stops can be dangerous for the discs.

Same issue as Mario here. Hibernates, wakes upp imediately, hibernates twenty minutes later and stays hibernated..
