Hi All,
I recently got a DS2411+ & setup my volume like this; Volume1 = 4x 2TB - SHA2. However I have noticed after installing packages and setting things up, that most of the services and packages all run using this volume. Downloads / CloudSync etc.
So I would like to make volume1 into volume2 without migrating the data and use a 1TB drive as my cache/active drive (volume1). Basically the idea is to let the my main storage raid sleep when not in use.
How would I go about doing it??

Which is not possible because either all or none of the disks are hibernating.

Thank you for replying,
Maybe "sleep" hibernate was the wrong term, lets just say the main raid would not be spun up or being accessed with read/write, and only the cache volume would be active.
With terminology aside any one?

they would still be spun up - they just wouldn't be reading or writing as often
cant you just change the packages to point at volume 2?
