Blue blinking power button on DS410

Postby SynologyMoose » Sun May 27, 2012 10:04 pm

My DS 410 has always been working perfectly. I took it off power for 2 days (after shutting it down properly).

After reinstalling the DS410 it doesn't boot up anymore. The LAN light is on, the power button keeps blinking blue. Even the reset button doesn't do anything.

Suggestions are very much appreciated.

What do you mean by 'reinstalling the DS410'?
Did you booted it up and upgrade the DSM, and after that you got into blinking power LED status or what?

No update of the DSM. Just putting it back in the network (an thereby back on power)

After about 8-10h the DS 410 booted again. Unfortunately one of the disks seems to have crashed. Is that the reason why it took so many hours to boot?

disk 4 is the crashed disk. Is that the upper or the lower bay?

Disks are counted from top to bottom and left to right (depending on the model).
