Hi,
I just took out an old router, the WNR3500 (no L), and tried plugging that into the Actiontec GT704WGB modem/router using an ethernet cable.
The internet works fine. However, now I cannot even see my NAS show up when I start Synology Assistant. One end of an ethernet cable is connected to the NAS, and the other to the WNR3500. The LAN LED light is on, and the box shows it as working normally. However my computer cannot see it.
What am I missing?

Does your NAS have a static IP that is not withon the subnet of the new router?
