I've just got my DS212+. I'll be installing two drives in it; WD 1 TB and WD 320 GB. I've a couple of question before i go on.
1. Both my drives are in my PC and almost full right now. Is it possible to install one drive in NAS (320 GB), copy some data to it and then install the second drive (1 TB)? I just want simple storage, no RAID.
2. I'll be replacing the 320 GB drive with a 1 TB drive in a month or two. Do I simply take out the old drive (320 GB) and insert the new one without losing any data except the data present on the 320 GB drive that i took out?
Thanks.
