[DS207+] How to assign unallocated diskspace

Postby pjnberndsen » Thu Dec 09, 2010 8:19 pm

Hello,

A couple of weeks ago one of my 400Gb disks in my DS207+ crashed.
I decided to buy 2 new disks with a volume of 2Tb.
First I added one disk and had the volume manager restore the 400Gb volume to the 2Tb volume.
After that was done, I removed the remaining 400Gb disk and added the other 2Tb disk and repeated the volume manager restore.
At this point, all the original data was restored, and the volume manager had created 2 volumes of each 400Gb.
So, that left 1.6Tb per disk unallocated.
The Storage manager gives me the suggestion "You can expand size to about 1861GB".
However, when I click on MANAGE and choose the option "Expand the volume with unallocated disk space", the process crashes time after time.

Does anyone have an idea how I can allocate the remaining disk space?

Kind regards,
Paul Berndsen
