SetupQuestion:VPN-Client -> Internet -> VPN-Router -> DS207+

Postby ChicksTerminator3 » Tue Sep 16, 2008 1:59 pm

I simply want to dial in via a VPN-Client over the internet to my home-LAN, which is connected to the internet by a VPN-Router (DrayTek Vigor 2800; no VPN-Server on the Diskstation). While in the LAN, I have no problems to access all the files via \\Diskstation\Dir1\..., it is impossible to get into the DiskStation via VPN. And yes, I am using the same username/password combination.

( VPN works, since I can get emails from my ISP the VPN is connected to. )

I have searched the internet and forum here, but found no solution. Anyone here who has succeeded with a setup like this?
DS-207+ / DSM 2.0-0590 / 2 x Western Digital WD1000FYPS-01ZKB 1 TB RAID 1

Looks like we are both online

1. Dynamic IP, mapped via DynDNS.
2. Which VPN on the router? - Don't know. I think DrayTek has a proprietary.
3. I tried the normal Microsoft Windows one, and Smart VPN Client also. Both get connected, but I cannot get behind the router, i.e. to the DS207+
4. Here 192.168.0.101, at the home network, where the router is, the DS and anything else is located at 192.168.1.x.

Hope this can help us. Anyway, thx for your help!
