I have a DS1511+ on a Mac network and up till today it has also shown itself in the Finder window as "DiskStation" and I have been able to reliably connect to it without any issues.
Today I changed to a fixed IP so I can access remotely and I noticed that the spelling changed in the Finder to "diskstation" and access is slower than what it used to be. Now when I click a folder it can take upto 30 seconds to show the contents whereas before it was instant.
Anyone have any ideas?

Also the icon changes regularly in the side bar from a nice looking "widescreen Mac Monitor" symbol to a crappy "PC Square monitor" symbol.
So there must be a reason for this, anyone?
