Is it possible to prevent the audio station web page login from timing out?

Another option would be to allow optionally access w/o login.

This would make the audio station more useful, as I like to pause or turn the music down quickly in my office if the phone rings.

Currently the login procedure prevents me doing that fast enough.

Yes, you can access the Audio Station via the Synology Remote

This would make the audio station more useful, as I like to pause or turn the music down quickly in my office if the phone rings.
There is a pause, stop, and volume buttons on the remote.

Security is less an issue when listening to audio for my opinion. In the worst case some unauthorized user could change the music I am listening to. In addition my suggestion was to have optional guest access to the audiostation.

The beauty of the audiostation web page is that anybody in the office could access it and turn down the music from their desk, not only the person having the remote.

This would make the audio station more useful, as I like to pause or turn the music down quickly in my office if the phone rings.
There is a pause, stop, and volume buttons on the remote.

But these buttons are only availabe after login. A login takes a while and it may be too late to answer the ringing phone.

Just a suggestion, it would be even more cool to have a little "desktop gadget" on your PC which you can remote control the Audiostation.

It's been a while now, and this feature is just essential;
why would you want to bother your customers any longer by forcing them to input thein username & password for the only sake of changing the volume / press pause ?

I like your products very much, but honestly, on this matter,
it really looks like you are simply interested in selling more syno remotes.
