EzCloud pointing to Router instead of to NAS

Postby jonahlee » Tue Jun 26, 2012 2:42 am

I am having an problem where EZCloud using Synology's IP redirection service is pointing to my Router instead of to my NAS. It is pointing to 192.168.1.1 instead of 192.168.1.6. I am using Dynamic IP, but that is always the routers address. How can I change that setting so that when I try and login I am not pointing to my router instead of to my NAS?

Just tried the same using FreeDNS's site, and it is sending me to my Router. I am on Verizon FIOS using an Ultraline Series 3 Model 9100EM for my router. And it seems to not be letting me have remote access to my Synology, which makes the NAS basically useless to me.

You will have to set port forwarding to your router. Port forwarding will allow specific ports to be routed directly to your NAS.
