How can I download my backup NOT ZIPPED?

Postby ShrimpBurrito » Wed Jan 26, 2011 7:53 pm

Sorry if this has been answered here before, but I used the search engine and couldn't find any answers. I also paged through all the menus on my 210j, and didn't see anything, either.

When I log into FileStation and go to "Download" a group of files, it zips them prior to allowing me to download them. I need to download a good portion of my backup (over 150 GB), and the zipping keeps timing out. What's the best way to copy such a large volume of data FROM the DS? I'm using DSM 2.3 -- too scared to try 3.0 based on the still recent comments here.

Thanks,
Dave

I would say download it by FTP. Just queue the files you need and let it do the rest..
