No PS3 Search with Synology NAS

I have set up my PS3 with my Synology NAS. There is no search function where I can search for artists or songs on the Synology using the PS3. The audio station search is good on the Synology where it filters results as you are typing.

Why is this not available or any search function on the pS3 since the audio station structure or organization is pretty much the same on the Ps3?
