refresh issues

I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question but I have tried looking through the search as well as the wiki and still have not found the answer. I have just installed a new ds211j and it works beautifully. The only problem is that whenever I make changes to any folder, I have to keep hitting f5 (refresh) to see the changes. This problem exist when I create new folders, rename files or folders, delete, etc.

For example, I created a new shared folder and when I pull it up on my computer (windows xp) and add a new folder, it does not display until I refresh the window.

Thank you for any help in advance. I am sure this is a newbie question but that is what I am.

Yes, what was the solution? Same problem on Windows 7 x64.
