iTunes server and Roku

Hi everyone,

this is my first post on this forum.

I recently discovered the Synology products, and plan to buy a 107e very soon, but I'm still a bit confused with this iTunes server feature...

If I understood correctly, I can use the Synology 107e as an iTunes server. My idea was to buy a music player (such as the Roku SoundBridge) and use it with the 107e WITHOUT my PC turned on.

Will this work ?
Has anyone tested this before ?

Well... that's the general idea behind the NAS in the first place...
This setup will work yes......

I have a Ds107 and SoundBridge Homemusic (DMA) and it works very well without Mac turned on !!
