DS audio heartbeat feature request

Is there any plans to add a capability in DS audio where it will store the currently played file/playlist and maybe the current location? I use the app to listen to audiobooks (both iPhone and Android tablet). I'm having issues where the app will crash unexpectedly or experience Internet loss. When this happens, I restart the app and I have to re-select the audiobook. Unfortunately I spend a great deal of time trying to find where DS audio left off--i.e. which file it was playing and where, in the file, it was playing before the crash. If there was some way it could store the current playlist/file and maybe keep a record of the current location every 5 or 10 minutes; when this unexpected crash happens and the app restarts, it will recover and, worst case, I'd loose the last 5 or 10 minutes.
