Hi,

I was wondering if there is a package which installs a full working Wiki on the nas that is hosted and contains most of the feaures of wikipedia. This would go nicely with the wordpress package.

Where do you find a list of available packages as I only see around 10 in the package manager.

There are many new cloud storage provider that use Webdav to access the cloud.

A support for backing up to remote Webdav folders would be a welcome addition also.

MASKDNS: It runs well as IPKG but would improve the DS a lot if it would be available as Synology Package.

For many user it is great to have a DNS Server running which is easy to configure.

THIS WOULD BE GREAT!!!

To add a couple of like to have features:

- a simple dhcp/dns as a syno package (e.g. dnsmasq)
- a Java based application server as a syno package(e.g. Tomcat)
- an option for the syno mail package to use MySQL for the DB instead of postgress (which we can't backup)

I agree. SVN should be supported by Synology.

Umm, yeah, but an official package that doesn't involve hacking the DS, voiding the guarantee, and running the risk of losing your settings whenever you upgrade the DSM would be nice.

+1 for an official SVN package
+1 for a "web browser" integrated into DSM's interface

A kind of Terminal emulator, allowing to open a command line right from DSM's interface (avoiding to let port 23 open to the public).

More options for Mailstation! I would like the user's inbox to be located in a .db file (sqlite database) in his own home directory, instead of a plain old maildir (for security reason, don't want attached files to get wild in a directory). Seen Dovecot is able to deal with sqlite storage. And moreover, please keep roundcube version up-to-date!

A feature that vista and 7 have. When, via the file manager on the disk station web interface, one edits a filename it would be nice if the file extension was NOT selected, for ease of copy paste/instant typing without the need to de-select the file extension.

Keep up the good work

Hi,

I have my second DS now. Great job with the software integration.

I am missing two features:
1.) As simple DNS Server like DNSMASQ
2.) A Contact, Calendar, Email package which is exchange compatible (like the Google package)

Best regards
