Has anyone had any luck with Eyespy247HDSH camera? This is the type of camera that perfectly fits the bill for my needs (no PTZ, indoor use, HD resolution) but I could not find any user feedback on this model whatsoever? I plan on using it with DS-1511+ and an iPhone / iPad. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

BTW None of the Eyespy247 cameras are on the Synology compatibility list and I wonder why?

Hi All,

Has anyone of you ever tried to setup under DSM 4.0 Cisco 2500 IP Camera (CIVS-IPC-2500W) ??

Or maybe you know what is camera's source path to go via user settings in surveillance station?

Thank you in advance for help!

Hi,

Much appreciate if Synology add IP camera Edimax IC-7010PTn to the compatible camera list, which is not at the moment (DSM 4.0)

Many thanks in advance,

    Brand: Samsung
    Model: Galaxy Tab 2
    Path: /videofeed
    Format: mjpeg
Syno Info
    Model: DS1010+

User Info

Sorry, I have no wiki access, so if you'll add the line i would appreciate ;)

Thanks in advance, Naro

Hootoo HT-IP210HD working

Postby carminus » Sun Feb 17, 2013 1:35 am

http://www.amazon.com/ARRIVAL-HooToo%C2%AE-HT-IP210HD-Indoor-Wireless/dp/B00B7CM99A/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1361059523&sr=1-1&keywords=HT-IP210hd

The camera itself is ok I suppose for the cost. Still don't expect 720p or great HD quaility. I was with some effort able to get this to work with my synology nas server.

Word of advice with any camera with IR it is not designed to work through glass windows.

SERVER INFO:

Name: Name the camera
IP: Camera IP
Port: I used port 81
Brand: User Define
Source Path: /cgi-bin/videostream.cgi?user=admin&pwd=CAMERA PASSWORD
username:admin
password:CAMERA PASSWORD

Hi,

I've bought a D-Link 2230 camera (IP/Wifi) which was working fine ... until last firmware upgrade.

Here is a link to a previously open thread to D-Link where I added a (frustrated) message : http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=50853.0

The camera was using the old firmware (1.00 I think ...). I'm running DSM 4.2 using DS411+II.

Ok, let me told you my current problems ...

Since I upgraded to the last firmware (1.10), I'm not able to use my camera as before. I don't know why ... but here are detected problems :
- video picture seems to be very corrupted and glitchy
- no more usable sound (only noise)
- no more "fluid" video : video is stuck on some picture, sound is horrible
- using DS Cam, I only get glitchy picture .. or even blank picture ...

Should I wait for an update of Synology to fix that, or is it a firmware problem on Dlink side ?

I'm very angry, and I can't use my camera anymore.

I tried to select the camera and even tried to use the "ONVIF" protocol .. no more success : all recorded video are broken and can't be exploited.
If I connect directly to the camera, I can get correct video (but I don't get sound). So, I think the problem could be a big change on DLink side .. which impact Synology side.

I think I have two options to fix that :
- downgrade to old firmware (I'm not sure if that is possible)
- wait for an upgrade of Synology (but, the upgrade is already more than 3 months old ...)

What do you think ? Firmware problem or lack of support for this new firmware from DLink on Synology products ???

Thanks
loopx

Installed below Wanscam IP Cam and it works fine in Synology DS212 running DSM 4.2-3202. Need to choose the correct device info. Below is the device info to setup the IP Camera

IP Cam Brand and Model used:
Brand: WANSCAM
Model: AJ-C2WA-C198

Setting up in Synology as follow:
Surveilance Station --> Management --> Edit Camera --> Device Info.
In Device Info go to below to setup the camera
Brand --- choose Foscam
Camera Model --- choose F18918W

For further advanced setting please go to Advanced --> Camera Optimization and check flip to enable it if the camera is setting up in upside down configuration.
