1511+ Compatible RAM List

I tried a Corsair VS2GSDS800D2, bought from Amazon and it didn't work for me... No go. No workie...

Might save up and go with an approved direct-from-synology dimm...

I have two times 2GB, DDR2, 667, CL5 from a dead notebook PC.

1. Will these two modules fit in my DS1511+?

2. Will I experience any gain? If I look at system info I use less than 20% of the existing 1 GB.

I use normal samba/ciff sharing of movie rips around 8-20 GB, and also smaller images around 5 MB.
I have a few mysql databases.

So most services are right now disabled. This might change in the future with photo and file station and perhaps hosting a website.

Today I´ve upgraded the RAM of my DS1511+. Used modul: Samsung 2 GB S0-DIMM DDR2 800MHz PC2-6400 (see ebay # 350465488746) The DS1511+ showes 3 GB at all & is working fine untill now - I´ll write here if I´ll get problemes...
