The next DSM 4.1!

It is so quiet here. Synology just held the DSM 4.1 Beta Night in Taiwan. The target date seems to be Mid July or earlier.

DSM 4.1 Features:

• new Video Station to organize all videos you have on your NAS
  
• importing Meta data from International Movie Database
  
• able to record TV through USB DVB-sticks (they said they only tested DVB-T sticks yet)
  
• DS video app to use Video Stations functions on the go
  
• Photo Station now with "Timeline"-function to display images across folders by year

• Audio Station with new UI
  
• personal Audio Station coming, comparable to personal Photo Station

Links worked okay for me--Wow! I can't wait now for 4.1! Some really nice aesthetic overhauls and the iOS apps look amazing. Now to get that beta sometime in the next few weeks....

Firefox didn't work so I tried it in Internet Explorer and it works ok.

Yes seriously. It's a relatively minor change. It's basically just an android port. And there are quite some people with a PlayBook. Also a RIM employee even offered support.

As from I have had heard DSM 4.1 Beta program should be released today (10th july 2012).
There is allready package for DS1512+ on Synology's FTP.
